Co-Founder and CEO
A former bank officer overseeing 140 branch account reps with a penchant for customer service and marketing, Julianne’s experience with personal injury began in 2010 when she took over as office manager for a clinic in Albuquerque NM – a clinic 100%-focused on injury care. During that time, she met co-founder Keith Pendleton JD and over the next several years, grew the practice substantially on a combined, reimbursement / practice development /marketing front. Over the years, Keith would say, “Julianne is one of the most, if not THE, sharpest minds in personal injury I’ve ever met … it’s the special flair she has for blending patient-friendliness, networking marketing and business-smarts.” In 2014, Julianne began to expand her services to include A/R management and marketing for several additional practices in the New Mexico area, including chiropractic and also the burgeoning area of rehab massage. In one case, over a 3-year period, she tripled the size of the rehab massage clinic which she had begun to service. Her flair for network marketing has resulted in a system which, for one practice, is now generating over 15 new PI patients per month for the clinic. In 2016, she purchased the rehab massage clinic with plans for evolving the clinic into a national brand. In July, 2017, she merged her company with that of Keith Pendleton JD, together forming Best Injury Practices, Inc. dba PI Back Office and MyPIportal.com – a first-ever Injury Payment & Marketing Software System.
Keith Pendleton JD
Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer
A graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law, Keith received his start in the chiropractic profession when he accepted a role as Operations Director of a well-established chiropractic office. It was during this time that Keith learned the art, science, and most notably, law, associated with personal injury. It didn’t take long before Keith began to offer support to chiropractors and other injury practitioners throughout the country, teaching them how to establish both a legal and medical foundation for their cases. His special penchant for personal injury law didn’t just relate to making complex laws simple and easy for doctors and staff to understand. Rather, it consisted in boiling down the law into simple practical tools and processes that WORK – tools and processes that help providers much more easily get paid in personal injury cases. For instance, he developed a proprietary 5-step protocol for helping injury practitioners become “secured creditors” in their personal injury cases – a process which is critical to helping doctors avoid PIP / medpay suspensions and peer reviews, as well as getting paid directly and promptly by third-party liability payers in UNrepresented cases – cases where the patient elects NOT to retain an attorney. In 2010, he met Julianne Garcia, then office manager of a PI clinic in Albuquerque, NM. In July 2017, the two officially merged their operations. While Julianne heads up the PI Back Office division, Keith is now focusing his time on developing MyPIportal.com – a first-ever Injury Payment & Marketing System – while he continues to advance his doctors nationwide through online training and support.
